This concept art sheet brings to life the warmth and diversity of a Puerto Rican barbershop and salon, showcasing a range of skin tones, body shapes, and hair textures. Chatty, personality-filled stylists and elegantly dressed older women create a familiar, home-like atmosphere, with details like a family pet or a child quietly playing or studying nearby. Each character embodies the vibrant, familial energy central to these spaces. Currently, I’m developing a larger piece to place these characters within a fully realized salon setting.
